JANE HINDMARCH - ARTIST
Jane Hindmarch studied Drawing, Painting and Printmaking to Degree and Post Graduate level at Edinburgh College of Art. She has since exhibited widely and taught extensively in schools and colleges around the area.
Jane has earned several awards and grants giving her opportunities to travel and study and has organized national and international collaborative art projects.
Last year her painting "Bluebell Woodlands, Helpston" was awarded 2nd prize in the SOCK Winter Open Exhibition at the SOCK Gallery in Loughborough.
In 2016 Kombisketchtour was formed by Jane Hindmarch and Maxine Greer. Born out of a passion for observing and drawing nature the two artists regularly escape, tour and draw, capturing seasonal highlights of the local area and celebrating the British countryside.
Recently Jane’s drawings, paintings and folding books have been shown at the Yarrow Gallery in Oundle in “DRAW” March 2017 an exhibition celebrating and promoting observational drawing from nature.
Also in Stamford Arts Centre Gallery in “Attic Artists” 2014 and in “SHIFT”, a group exhibition at the Yarrow Gallery, Oundle 2012
Jane is currently a resident artist at Stamford Arts Centre where she has been based for many years.
