Amongst the dried grasses found at this time of year you see a wonderful sprinkling of yellow stars harking back to summer days in the haze. As we exchange t-shirts for jumpers the seasons wildflowers shift from the dazzling pinks to softer tones of rust and burnt sienna with golden grasses going to seed.
What a surprise it is to see the amount of yellow still evident amongst the glade. Yellow stars of Fleabane, Nipplewort, Bristly Ox-tongue, Hawkweed and Sowthistle punctuate the drying land with spots of sunshine. What do you love about Autumn?
And now for some action shots.
